Recently we go the lucky chance of visiting our local community garden in Leighlinbridge. Ann showed us around the various beds.  When the rain fell, we retired into the tunnel. We learned that theres more to gardening than just planting. We got to work and helped weed and prepare the ground for the next batch of seeds.

Needless to say we were rewarded with a biscuit after all our hard work. We got the chance to go out and plant onions with Ann in a vegetable bed.  We were very careful with our sets, hoping that they will grow into juicy onions. We promised to return before we finish school when the garden will be full of produce. We might even help out with the weeding again!
